Unify USA

Hit Refresh on the Constitution

Unify-USA is an inter-partisan citizens movement. It’s a call to every citizen, every community, every soul who believes in liberty and justice for all.
This is your invitation to shape history.

This is our moment.

We’re not stuck in the past—we’re building the future. For too long, a powerful few have made the rules for the rest of us. But now, through Citizens’ Assemblies, the power is in your hands.

No more waiting. No more broken systems.

The Constitution is the operating system of our government. If we don’t rewrite the code, we’ll keep getting the same rigged results—no matter who’s in charge.

You can’t fix a broken game by swapping the players. You have to change the rules. That’s what Citizens’ Assemblies do: bring everyday people together to rewrite the rules, fairly and democratically.

What Are Citizens’ Assemblies?

No campaigns. No lobbyists. No billionaires.
Just a group of everyday Americans—chosen by lottery—coming together to solve real problems.
Nurses. Teachers. Truck drivers. Students. People like you.

Compare that to Congress, where half the members are millionaires.
That’s not democracy. That’s elite control.

Citizens’ Assemblies flip the script.
No re-election pressure. No party bosses. No soundbites.
Just thoughtful, fact-based decisions made in service of the common good.

This is DIY Democracy.
Your voice. Your future. Your power.

It’s a global wave

From Ireland to Iceland, Germany to Kenya, British Columbia to Chile— citizens are stepping up where elected leaders have failed.

This isn’t fringe. Over 700 citizens assemblies have happened globally.
Political scientists call it the deliberative wave—a powerful new era of democratic innovation based on one radical truth:

Power belongs to the people.

It began in 2004, when British Columbia invited 150 randomly selected citizens to redesign their voting system.
The result? A smart, popular plan that proved:
Everyday people can solve complex problems—and often do it better than politicians.

Since then:

  • Ireland tackled abortion and marriage equality
  • France addressed climate change and end-of-life care
  • Germany reimagined food policy
  • Iceland crowdsourced a new constitution
  • East Belgium created a permanent Citizens’ Council
  • The UK is now using Citizens’ Assemblies to challenge the outdated House of Lords

When real people lead, democracy works.
When citizens are selected fairly, informed properly, and given space to deliberate—they don’t divide. They collaborate. They lead.

This is the future of democracy.
Now it’s our turn.  Because it’s either us or them.
